Briscotties started with a craving—not just for something sweet, but for something real. Like many families, we found ourselves surrounded by mass-produced, preservative-filled desserts that just didn’t taste the way they should. The warmth of fresh-baked cookies, the richness of homemade ice cream, the joy of sharing a treat made with love—these felt like they were disappearing in a world of shortcuts and artificial ingredients.
That’s when Brianna decided to take matters into her own hands. What began as a personal passion for baking quickly became something bigger. She started experimenting with scratch-made recipes, rediscovering the magic of real butter, fresh cream, and high-quality ingredients. Friends and family couldn’t get enough. Soon, what started as a hobby became a mission—to create premium, handcrafted desserts that taste as good as they should.
But our story took an unexpected turn.
When our son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, everything changed. As a family, ice cream had always been our favorite dessert, the one we reached for to celebrate small wins, to lift our spirits after a tough day, or to just enjoy together on a warm summer evening. But suddenly, those simple moments of joy came with restrictions. We refused to accept that dessert had to be off-limits.
So, we got to work.
We spent months researching, testing, and refining recipes to create an ice cream that was both delicious and diabetes-friendly. We weren’t willing to compromise on flavor or texture, so we crafted a formula that was low-carb, high-protein, and naturally sweetened—without sacrificing the creamy, indulgent experience we all love. What started as a personal challenge soon became part of our greater mission: to offer an alternative for families like ours who want to enjoy their favorite treats without guilt or compromise.
